Son of Michel Bélaïeff  the film maker (producer and director).  He grows up on film sets… At the age of 14, his father offers him a Nikon F2 camera, and introduces him to 8th arts. He quickly learns to master his device, what was for him a pastime becomes now a passion ! Before concentrating on the appeal of nature as a wildlife photographer, he begins his adventure at Champlain College, then at Dawson College in photography. He will work as a assistant chemist, them as a chemist for two big firms in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Mont Royal film and Astral Bellevue Pathé. In the 80s, he began to work as a printer at Bonaventure Laboratory for the Graetz brothers also in Montréal, and then in 1987 for the Corlab group. He will work as a technician on 4×5 candide printer, then at the mounting and lamination production department. Later as a sale representative for the professional customer division. In 1989, he starts his own company. For a period of five years he will work as a portrait photographer  and weeding photography.  He executes himself his retouching on photographic paper and prints and all his manual color enlargement. Finally, in 2012 he pull on a contract with Aquabound a American firm. Cook is now his main profession , he dedicates completely all his spare time, in his passion « wildlife and landscape photography « . Since 2002, he organizes sea kayak expeditions with photographic safaris, in Québec, New Hampshire and Maine. Brought out from two to three weeks, at the rate of thirty expeditions a year.

In 2012, he obtains a authorization from the Gaspésie Parc director in Québec, Canada a permission that will allow him in the making of a wildlife documentary. During these 8 weeks, he will covers a photographic documentary on the Canadian elks, landscapes and macro photography.

In 2014 he begins undertaking steps in Québec with Canadian outfitters. Initiatives that will allow him to exercise his profession as a Chef and cover landscape and wildlife photography during his spare time. His work at the outfitter will alloy him to make several contact; guides, journalism, hunter and promote his Web site. The opportunity to get acquainted with people as passionate with wildlife and nature, just as him !
Several articles will ensue from this personal steps , the black bear, the deer and the Canadian elk during the rutting season. A « fine cuisine » article was also realized at Domaine Shannon outfitter during that season. Next challenge for 2015 from May to mid September, settle a camo tent permanently in a determined territory exempt from hunting and human circulation. I will be undertaking wildlife observation and also beating bears. This will certainly be the subject of its next blog… !
